- Nine education levels out of the box
- Semesters and credit hours for degrees
- Weekly timetables per class
How it works.
Three steps from setting it up to using it every day.
- 1
Pick your levels
Your workspace starts with only the levels your institution teaches, from playgroup to PhD.
- 2
Add programmes and subjects
Grades, degrees, diplomas and courses, each with its subjects, credit hours and fees.
- 3
Create classes and timetables
Sections, cohorts or batches with a class teacher, a room and a weekly timetable.
What changes.
The same work, done once, in one place.
Without InstLane
- Class lists copied into every register and exam sheet
- Timetables in a document nobody can search
- Subjects named differently in every office

With InstLane
- One class list that registers, exams and fees all use
- A timetable teachers, students and parents can see
- The same programme and subject names everywhere
For each person.
Everyone sees the part that matters to them, and nothing they should not.

See your sections, subjects and periods at a glance.
Your subjects and timetable in one place.

Questions, answered.
Does InstLane work for both schools and universities?
Yes. The same system covers early years, primary and secondary (Matric, O and A Levels), intermediate colleges, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, plus short courses. A network can run all of them in one workspace.
Which attendance devices can we connect?
ZKTeco terminals that support ADMS (push), Hikvision access controllers that send ISAPI events, and any RFID reader or middleware that can call a web address with a JSON message. We help pilot institutions connect their devices.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Attendance terminals keep punches in their own memory and send them when the connection returns. Teachers can also take the register in the browser as soon as they are back online.
Is our data kept separate from other institutions?
Yes. Every institution has its own database, and every request is checked against the institution it belongs to. You can export your data at any time.
Do parents need to install an app?
No. Parents and students sign in from any phone browser. There is nothing to install.
