Developmental milestones for your youngest learners.

Teaching & learning$6 a month as part of Early years

What it does

Record observations across language, numeracy, physical, social and creative domains, rated on a simple scale, and share progress with parents in plain words.

  • Five developmental domains
  • Four-point rating scale
  • Notes for parents

How it works.

Three steps from setting it up to using it every day.

  1. 1

    Pick the milestones

Five development domains with age-appropriate milestones for playgroup, nursery and KG.

  2. 2

    Observe and record

Teachers note observations and photos as they happen, not at the end of term.

  3. 3

    Share progress

Parents see a warm, plain-language picture of how their child is growing.

What changes.

The same work, done once, in one place.

Without InstLane

  • Observations in notebooks
  • Progress reports written from memory
  • Parents only hear at parent-teacher meetings

With InstLane

  • Observations recorded on the day
  • Progress built from real evidence
  • Parents follow along all term

For each person.

Everyone sees the part that matters to them, and nothing they should not.

Teachers and staff

Log an observation in under a minute.

Parents

See how your child is developing, not just a grade.

Pricing for Early years observations

$6 a month as part of Early years. Pilot institutions use every module free for one term.

Questions, answered.

Does InstLane work for both schools and universities?

Yes. The same system covers early years, primary and secondary (Matric, O and A Levels), intermediate colleges, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, plus short courses. A network can run all of them in one workspace.

Which attendance devices can we connect?

ZKTeco terminals that support ADMS (push), Hikvision access controllers that send ISAPI events, and any RFID reader or middleware that can call a web address with a JSON message. We help pilot institutions connect their devices.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Attendance terminals keep punches in their own memory and send them when the connection returns. Teachers can also take the register in the browser as soon as they are back online.

Is our data kept separate from other institutions?

Yes. Every institution has its own database, and every request is checked against the institution it belongs to. You can export your data at any time.

Do parents need to install an app?

No. Parents and students sign in from any phone browser. There is nothing to install.

Stop running your institution on registers and group chats.

Join the pilot. When your place comes up, we set up your workspace with you.
