Fees & finance

Billing, scholarships, collections and expenses.

Operations$15 a month as part of Fees & finance

What it does

Define fee heads per programme, bill a whole class in one step with scholarships applied, record cash, bank, card, JazzCash or Easypaisa payments, and follow up overdue balances.

  • Class-wide billing with scholarships
  • Part payments and overdue tracking
  • Expenses and cash-flow view

How it works.

Three steps from setting it up to using it every day.

  1. 1

    Set fee plans

Tuition, admission, transport and hostel fees, with discounts, scholarships and sibling rules.

  2. 2

    Invoice and collect

Invoices go out together; families pay by bank, mobile wallet or at the counter.

  3. 3

    Follow up

Reminders before and after the due date, and an ageing view of what is overdue.

What changes.

The same work, done once, in one place.

Without InstLane

  • Fee challans written by hand
  • Payments matched to students at month-end
  • Defaulters chased from a printout

With InstLane

  • Payments marked against the invoice as they arrive
  • Overdue balances visible every day

For each person.

Everyone sees the part that matters to them, and nothing they should not.

Administrators

See collections against billing for every month.

Teachers and staff

Collect a payment and print the receipt.

Students

See what is due and what is paid.

Parents

Know every amount due and paid, without a visit.

Pricing for Fees & finance

Questions, answered.

Does InstLane work for both schools and universities?

Yes. The same system covers early years, primary and secondary (Matric, O and A Levels), intermediate colleges, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, plus short courses. A network can run all of them in one workspace.

Which attendance devices can we connect?

ZKTeco terminals that support ADMS (push), Hikvision access controllers that send ISAPI events, and any RFID reader or middleware that can call a web address with a JSON message. We help pilot institutions connect their devices.

What happens if the internet goes down?

Attendance terminals keep punches in their own memory and send them when the connection returns. Teachers can also take the register in the browser as soon as they are back online.

Is our data kept separate from other institutions?

Yes. Every institution has its own database, and every request is checked against the institution it belongs to. You can export your data at any time.

Do parents need to install an app?

No. Parents and students sign in from any phone browser. There is nothing to install.

Stop running your institution on registers and group chats.

Join the pilot. When your place comes up, we set up your workspace with you.
